The present invention relates to a system for applying glue around the circumference of a trunk or pole, capable of depositing in a single pass a continuous, uniform band without gaps. The applicator comprises two arms (left/right) connected by a linking mechanism, forming a receiving space. At their distal ends, rotating heads equipped with spray nozzles, feelers and return springs automatically follow the surface profile and diameter, ensuring that the nozzles are constantly oriented towards the surface. Activation upon withdrawal can be preferred to avoid double layers and limit waste. The reservoir supplies the heads via tubing, while the pressure range and nozzle orifice diameter ensure the target thickness and uniformity of the applied film.

The adhesive used is UAB (approved for use in Organic Agriculture), compliant with the European regulatory framework, and contains no petroleum-based solvents or unauthorised synthetic active substances. Its viscosity and adhesion properties are suited to controlled spraying and resistance to wash-off, providing a durable physical barrier against crawling insects (ants, caterpillars, earwigs, etc.), with no chemical mode of action. The system reduces physical strain (no need for manual brushing at ground level), improves application consistency, adapts to a wide range of diameters and simplifies maintenance (cleaning with organic-compatible agents). This solution represents an ecological and operational alternative to pesticides for the protection of orchard crops.
