Helios Orchard is a breakthrough innovation in orchard production, designed to stimulate the natural defence mechanisms of fruit trees through UV light stimulation. This physical process, which involves no chemical inputs, enhances crop resilience against major diseases and climatic stresses.

Rather than protecting the plant with external inputs, Helios Orchard activates the tree’s own resistance mechanisms. As a result, fruit trees become better able to cope with pests and environmental stresses, while reducing reliance on plant protection products.

Results already observed in other crops are now being confirmed in orchard systems, where similar effects are seen: reduced scab pressure, improved tolerance to sunburn, and better responses to heat and water stress. The foliage appears greener and more balanced, reflecting improved plant vitality.

Through its positive impact on plant health, this technology offers new opportunities to secure both the quality and quantity of harvests by limiting losses linked to diseases and adverse climatic conditions.

However, it requires more field feedback and trial results before making a final decision for the selection.
